Required Artwork:

PRINT READY ARTWORK MUST BE SUPPLIED.

Providing a print ready file – That is, a file that has all the specifications necessary to produce high-resolution printed output, without requiring any additional alteration or intervention is necessary to process any orders that include printing services. Please read carefully and follow the instructions below as failure to meet the requirements could result in delays with production of your order.

  • Artwork must be created in CMYK colour mode (and or/include your PMS colour values). Colours will not be accurate when converted from other colour modes (such as RGB).
  • Resolution should be a minimum of 150 dpi at full print size.
  • Convert all fonts to outlines to avoid any font errors during the print process.
  • Line artwork and logos should be supplied as vector graphics where possible.
  • Embed any linked images.
  • Do not embed colour profiles in placed images or Photoshop files.

Accepted File Formats:

  • Adobe Illustrator files AI or EPS.
  • High-Resolution PDF files.
  • Files should be kept under 100MB where possible.

We are unable to accept any other file formats. Supplying other formats may result in delays in processing your order.

Safe Areas, Trim Lines & Guides:

  • The "Safe Area" on the template is the area that will be clearly visible after the graphic is installed.
  • The "Trim Line" is where the graphic will be cut out. Anything beyond this area will be trimmed off the finished graphic.
  • All other guides or instructions detailed in the template should be observed and followed; this may include "Bleed Line", "Obstructed Areas", "Folds", "Seam Lines", "Focal Areas", "Cut-Outs" and "Eyelets".

Submitting Your Files:

  • Files can be uploaded to your order via logging into your account.
  • If you are unable to upload via your account, files less than 20MB can be emailed to artwork@slimlinewarehouse.com.au
  • Files larger than 300MB will need to be sent through an external file transfer service.

Colour Matching:

All our printed graphics are created using the CMYK process. The best way to match colours using this process is with a bridge booklet. We recommend using the Pantone Coated Color Bridge Guide book as a basepoint or a point of reference for colour matching.

If your artwork is colour-critical — meaning the accuracy of the colours in your graphics are essential to your display, we require that all steps below are followed:

  • Note all colour critical information in the notes section of your order or contact a member of our team so they can note this on your order.
  • A print ready file with the correct swatch colour information labelled within the file.
  • In lieu of nominating PMS swatches, a physical copy must be sent to the print team.

When all the above is provided, we will do everything in our means to accurately match colours.

Differences in colours and tones can also be caused by variations in the output of viewing devices. Unless your viewing device has been calibrated, the colours you see on your device will differ slightly from the printed output. For these reasons, if the highlighted points above are not adhered to, we are not able to accept colour variation as a reason for complaints or refunds.
