Providing a print ready file – That is, a file that has all the specifications necessary to produce high-resolution printed output, without requiring any additional alteration or intervention is necessary to process any orders that include printing services. Please read carefully and follow the instructions below as failure to meet the requirements could result in delays with production of your order.

Submitting Your Files:

Colour Matching:

Because of the way we see light, colours printed with ink look different to colours displayed on a computer screen. It is therefore essential that the correct corporate colours be specified before printing. Providing Pantone colours (PMS colours) from the “coated” swatch library ensures the colours being printed have a point of reference and therefore can be matched as close as possible to your corporate colours.

If your artwork is colour critical, we require the following:

  • Provide all necessary pantone (PMS) colour swatch values, either in writing attached to your order (Notes can be attached through the online order process) or embedded in your supplied print file.
  • You have the option to supply the print team with a hard copy sample to match colour. Please note that posting any samples may delay processing your order.

Failure to supply colour-critical details prior to artwork approval will forfeit any claim for replacement or refund regarding colour discrepancies.

Although we request pantone (PMS) Spot colours to colour match, all printed graphics are printed using CMYK printers. For this reason, the exact reproduction of spot (PMS) colours is never 100% guaranteed. When Colour critical information is provided, we will do everything in our means to match the critical colours.

Colour inconsistencies may occur due to variations in viewing devices. The colours displayed on your viewing devices may differ from the printed output, so colours on proofs should be used for evaluation purposes only.
