LED Open Sign – Green and Blue Only!

Neon signs have always been used to attract attention and customers to restaurants, fast food shops and all types of retail businesses. But now there is new technology in the market that allows an LED Sign to achieve all the benefits of neon signs, as well as a number of other significant advantages. And the best part is that they are just as bright and look exactly like a neon sign!

We stock two standard LED “Open” Sign designs. This rectangular sign, is available only with green and blue LEDs and only in the vertical format shown. We also stock an LED Open Sign in red and blue that is only available in the horizontal format.

Advantages of Low Voltage
Our LED Open signs are low voltage. Being just 18 volts they are much safer than high voltage neon signs and use significantly less power. That’s not only good for the environment and good for your power bill, but is most importantly they are safer than neon signs! In the case of an accident or a damaged sign, 18 volts greatly reduces the risk of fire or electrocution of staff or customers.

A Cheaper Alternative
Not only are they low voltage, they’re also low cost. One of our LED Open signs will cost you less than half that of a similar sized neon sign. This is due to them being constructed of injection moulded plastic rather than the hand bent glass tubing used for neon signs. In short, they are mass produced, rather than hand made, and as a result, are far cheaper than neon signs.

Further adding to the low cost is the fact that LED lighting is continually falling in price as it becomes more popular and the quality improves.

Tougher than Neon
As mentioned above, these LED signs are made from injection moulded plastic. There is no glass used at all - as is the case with neon signs and this in itself greatly reduces their durability, particularly in a retail environment. It is not uncommon for neon signs to break when they are knocked, dropped, vandalised and even sometimes during shipping or installation!

Neon-look LED signs have variable display settings. At the flick of a switch you can choose whether you want your sign permanently lit or flashing. Further more you have the choice of a number of settings between a rapid flash pattern and a slow flash pattern.
The signs moulding includes hanging points and a chain pack so you can quickly install it into your shop front
The injection moulded plastic housing provides a solid black backing for the LEDs ensuring a more vivid colour display than many neon signs that do not use such a backing
